Nadine Bekdache, graphic designer and cultural activist, narrates her professional journey revealing the strong interactions she has developed with Beirut, its inhabitants and its public spaces over the years. Through her story, one can decipher how strongly her work is interlinked with the transformative contextual dynamics taking place in the city: a gradual long-term empowerment and increasing of socio-political awareness of civil society, claiming its basic rights and facing unprecedented illegal movement of privatization of public spaces.
